Please join us for a student-athlete, coach, and parent experiential night of activity showcasing the model of 2018 YO DEVO MN Cycling Team Strength Training Program and how to apply to join the team. Join us for one or both nights (programming is the same for each night, but hey, sometimes it's good to hear things twice!) Two Experiential Sessions offered for scheduling convenience.

THE WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, AND WHY OF THE PROGRAM....

WHO: 

Student-athletes looking to participate in cycling training activities that will enhance their performance in road, mountain, and cyclocross events and excursions, both locally and nationally.

WHAT: 

A one-year periodization program that includes goal-setting, full fitness assessment, nutritional support, lifestyle management strategies, activity tracking, strength training, cross-training, technique, rest/recovery, race preparation, team tactics, and lots of riding together.

WHERE:

Programming will be based out of the Duluth Area YMCA, though partners of the program will occasionally host events and on the bike training, and rides will be held throughout the area, state, and across the country.

WHEN:

Programming begins February 5th, 2018. Student-athletes will attend classes Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9 pm.

WHY:

Student-athletes, coaches, and parents have been asking for this type of programming for years. We have validated our method through work with individuals and small groups, and we are now ready to scale the program to larger groups.

HOW:

Through commitment, collaboration, and participation from national, state, and local agencies dedicated to ensuring youth are provided the opportunity to experience quality coaching supportive of their essential quest for identity, community, and purpose.
